Accessibility Statement.

Effective date: October 22, 2026

St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Catholic Church in Gainesville, Georgia is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Our church is open to all, and we want our online presence to reflect that.

Our Goal

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our standard. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What We Do

We work to provide readable text and sufficient color contrast, descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, clear headings and page structure, links with understandable names, and a layout that works on phones, tablets, and computers. Our website is built on Squarespace, which includes accessibility features and tools that we use to support these goals.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some parts of our website, including content from outside sources such as embedded videos, documents, or third party tools, may not yet be fully accessible. We review our site from time to time and will correct issues as we find them.

Assistive Technology and Browser Settings

Our website is designed to work with common assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. You can also adjust your own browser or device settings to enlarge text, change contrast, or have pages read aloud.

Printed and Alternative Formats

If you need information from our website in another format, such as large print, a plain text version, or a printed copy of a bulletin or document, please let us know and we will gladly help.

Feedback and Contact

If you have trouble using any part of our website, or have a suggestion for improving it, please contact us.
